Who we are

Rehatch Inc. is a corporation incorporated in the Province of Alberta, Canada, and operates rehatch.ai. We are responsible for the personal information described here.

What we collect

If you apply for early access, we collect what you type into the form:

• your email address
• your name
• your company
• how AI-native your work is today, chosen from a fixed list
• your answer to what you would hand to an AI-native organization first
• which language version of the site you applied from

What is optional

Only your email address is required. Every other field can be left blank and your application will still reach us.

We do not ask for payment details or government identifiers, and we have no use for them. The form does have free-text boxes, so please do not type anything of that kind into them.

Technical information

We also use the country Cloudflare infers from your IP address for one thing: choosing which language version to show when you arrive at rehatch.ai without naming one. You can switch language yourself at any time, and your choice is what we record if you then apply.

Our host, Cloudflare, records ordinary web-server information for every request: IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time. We do not use it to build a profile of you. One exception we should name: when you submit the form, your IP address is sent to the Cloudflare anti-spam check along with it, which is how that check tells a person from a script.

What we do not do

• Analytics, only if you allow it. If you accept, we load Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies, without storing anything in your browser, and without any identifier that could follow you to another site. It cannot tell us who you are. If you do not accept, the script is never loaded at all. There is no Google Analytics, no product analytics, no session recording, and no tracking pixel, whatever you choose.
• No advertising. We do not sell, rent or share your information with advertisers or data brokers.
• No cross-site tracking. Nothing here follows you to other websites.
• No third-party fonts. Typefaces are served from our own domain, so loading a page does not tell anyone else you visited.

Cookies and browser storage

We set no advertising or tracking cookies.

The only thing we store in your browser is your own answer to the cookie notice — whether you allow anonymous analytics. It stays on your device, is never sent to us, and choosing None stores nothing at all.

Cloudflare Turnstile, the anti-spam check on the application form, may set a short-lived token to confirm you are not a bot. It is used only for that.

Why we use it

We use your application to decide whether to offer you a place and to contact you about it — steps taken at your request before entering into a contract. We use server logs to keep the site running and to stop abuse, and the anti-spam check to prevent automated submissions, both of which are our legitimate interests. If analytics are ever added, they will run only with your consent.

Who else sees it

We use a small number of service providers, only to deliver this service: Cloudflare hosts the site, routes our email and runs the anti-spam check; Resend delivers all of our email, which means your application passes through it on the way to us as well; Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views, but only if you allowed it; Apple iCloud hosts the mailbox your application is delivered to. They act on our instructions and for no purpose of their own.

We do not sell your information.

Where it is processed

Rehatch Inc. is based in Alberta, Canada. Our service providers operate internationally, so your information is processed in Canada and may also be processed in the United States and elsewhere, under the contractual protections those providers offer.

Information stored in another country may be accessible to that country’s courts and law-enforcement authorities.

How long we keep it

If we do not offer you a place, we keep your application for 12 months from that decision and then delete it. We keep it that long deliberately: it is the period in which you can still ask us what we held and what we decided.

If you join, we keep it for as long as you have an account, and for 12 months afterwards.

You can ask us to delete it sooner and we will.

Email we send you

We email you only about your application and this policy: an acknowledgement when you apply, a message if a place opens, and a note if we change something material here. We send no marketing email and you are not added to any list. Every message identifies Rehatch Inc. and reaches a person if you reply.

Your rights

You may ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw a consent you have given. Write to [email protected]. We will not make you jump through hoops and we will not charge you.

As an Alberta corporation we are subject to Canada’s PIPEDA and Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act. If you believe we have mishandled your information, please tell us first — and you may then complain to the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Union, the GDPR also applies to us because we offer this service to people there. Your rights are at least those described above, and you may complain to your own national data protection authority.

Children

This service is for people building and running companies. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy we will change the date above. While we are in early access things may move quickly, so we will tell applicants about material changes by email rather than only posting them here.
